Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair
Fuel Tank Filler Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the fuel below the fuel fill neck. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining (without L59) (See: Service and Repair)Fuel Tank Draining (with L59) (
See: Service and Repair).
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
3. Loosen the fuel fill hose clamps (1) at the tank and the filler neck.
4. Remove the fuel fill hose from the tank and filler neck.
5. Cap the fuel and vent holes in the fuel tank in order to prevent possible fuel system contamination.
Installation Procedure
1. Remove the caps from the fuel and vent holes in the fuel tank.
