4. Through the wheel well, connect the power brake booster outlet hose to the power steering gear (2) and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Tighten the power brake booster outlet hose at the power brake booster to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).
7. Install the water deflector to the fender.
8. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair).
9. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Caution (See: Service Precautions).
1. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
2. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir to prevent excessive spillage.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
4. Remove the power steering outlet hose from the power steering pump.
5. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the power steering gear.
6. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the vehicle.
