Use a urethane adhesive system which meets GM Specification GM 3651G
Removal Procedure
Warning
If a window is cracked but still intact, crisscross the window with masking tape in order to reduce the risk of damage or personal injury.
Note: Before cutting out a stationary window, apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior
trim.
1. When replacing or removing the left side stationary window. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (See: Body and
Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
2. When replacing or removing the right side stationary window. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (See: Body and
Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
Warning
If broken glass falls into the defroster outlets, it can be blown into the passenger compartment and cause personal injury.
3. Cover to protect the following parts from broken glass:

The upper dash pad
*
The defroster outlets and A/C outlets
*
The seats
*
The carpeting
Warning
When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance
of personal injury.
4. Cover to protect the following parts from broken glass:
1. Upper dash pad
2. Defroster outlets and A/C outlets
3. Seats and carpeting
