10. Remove the rocker arm cover bolts.
11. Remove and discard the rocker arm cover bolt grommets, if necessary.
12. Remove the rocker arm cover.
13. Remove and discard the rocker arm cover gasket.
14. Clean and inspect the rocker arm cover, if necessary. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Cleaning and Inspection (See: Service and
Repair/Overhaul) .
Installation Procedure
Important: Do not reuse the cover gasket or the valve rocker arm cover bolt grommets.
1. Install a NEW rocker arm cover gasket.
2. Install NEW rocker arm cover bolt grommets, if necessary.
