Sierra 1500 2WD V6-4.3L (2008)
5. If equipped with 2-wheel drive (2WD), remove the crossmember bolts and bar.
6. If equipped with 4-wheel drive (4WD), remove the crossmember bolts and bar.
7. If equipped with 4WD, remove the front differential carrier. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (1500 FWD) Differential Carrier
Assembly Replacement (2500 4WD) .
8. Remove the engine harness bracket bolts.
9. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (4.3L) Starter Motor Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L) Starter Motor
Replacement (6.6L) .
10. Remove the transmission cover.
