IMPORTANT: The SGCM monitors the battery pack along with relearning internal memory and will stop the battery pack service charge procedure
when 100 percent SOC is met-The battery charger will display a low current output when the process is complete and without battery damage-Base
voltage for 100 percent SOC is 12.5 volts +/-.2 volts. The procedure may take from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the battery pack SOC.
The Panasonic batteries are designed to have a life span of approximately 36,000 amp hours.
If all 3 batteries are replaced, the total Ahrs-must be reset to 0 Ahrs-with a scan tool, through BECM Output Controls.
Energy Storage Box (ESB) Air Duct Hose Replacement
ENERGY STORAGE BOX (ESB) AIR DUCT HOSE REPLACEMENT (WITH RPO CODE HP2)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the energy storage box (ESB) intermediate cover.
2. Remove the ESB fan.
3. Remove the screws (1) securing the air duct hose (2) to the fan (3).
4. Remove the air duct hose (2) from the fan (3).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the air duct hose (2) to the fan (3).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the screws (1) securing the air duct hose (2) to the fan (3).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).
