Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank (Cab/Chassis)

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) HOSES/PIPES REPLACEMENT - CANISTER/FUEL TANK (CAB/CHASSIS)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  Clean all the evaporative emission (EVAP) line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to
avoid possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.

1. Remove the EVAP canister.
2. Remove the EVAP canister line (1).
3. Remove the EVAP canister purge line (2).
4. Cap the fuel and EVAP lines in order to prevent possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Remove the caps from the fuel and EVAP lines.
2. Install the EVAP canister purge line (2).
3. Install the EVAP canister line (1).
4. Install the EVAP canister.
