J 8059 Snap Ring Pliers

J 35910 Drive Axle Seal Clamp Pliers

J 36652-1 Drive Axle Clamp Swage Tool

J 36652-2 Axle Swage Tool

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the wheel drive shaft.
2. Remove the wheel drive shaft seal cover, if applicable.

Important: Use caution when using the hand grinder by the CV joint outer race (1).

3. Use a hand grinder to cut through the swage ring (2).
4. Use side cutters to cut off the small boot clamp (4).
