5. Install the trailer brake control module and relay bracket assembly to the frame.
6. Slide the trailer brake control module bracket assembly fully into the slotted holes of the vehicle frame.
7. Tighten the trailer brake control module bracket bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
8. Connect the trailer brake control module and trailer brake control relay electrical connectors.
9. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Spare Wheel Hoist Replacement (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Tires/Spare Tire/Service
and Repair).
10. If installing a new trailer brake control module, program the module. Refer to Control Module References (See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Control Module References).
