3. Using the CH 48809 - tool  (1), increase the tension on the adjustment arm until the load is removed from the adjuster bolt and the nut.

4. Remove the adjustment bolt (1), the adjust nut (2) from the crossmember.
5. Using the CH 48809 - tool , unload the torsion bar.
6. Remove the adjustment arm (3) by sliding the torsion bar forward.
