Sierra 2500 Denali 2WD V8-6.0L (2011)
1. Apply sealant to the threads of the actuator (1) for the 8.25 inch axle (2) , (3) for the 9.25 inch axle (4), or (6) for the 9.25 inch HD axle. Use the
correct sealant. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See: Differential Assembly/Tools and Equipment/Front Drive
Axle/Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the actuator (1, 3, 6) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft)..
3. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
4. Install the oil pan skid plate, if equipped. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (2500/3500 with RPO NZZ) (See: Body and
Frame/Frame/Skid Plate/Service and Repair/Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement (2500/3500 with RPO NZZ)).
5. Lower the vehicle.
