Sierra 3500 2WD V8-6.0L (2008)
3. Remove the throttle body nuts (507) and bolts (538).
4. Remove the throttle body (508).
5. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket (509).
Installation Procedure
1. Install a NEW throttle body gasket to the intake manifold. Align the tab of the gasket with the notch in the manifold.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
2. Install the throttle body (508), bolts (538), and nuts (507).
Tighten the bolts/nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Important: Verify that the engine wiring harness electrical connector seal for the electronic throttle control is properly installed and not
damaged.
