Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left catalytic converter, if required. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (6.0L - Cab/Chassis) (See: Catalytic
Converter/Service and Repair/Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (6.0L - Cab/Chassis)) .
2. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe, if required. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (6.0L - Cab/Chassis) (See: Exhaust Pipe/Service and
Repair) .
3. Remove and discard the appropriate exhaust seal (1) or gasket (2).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the NEW appropriate exhaust seal (1) or gasket (2).
