1. Install NEW O-ring seals to the flywheel housing, if necessary.
2. Apply a 2 mm (1/8 inch) wide bead of sealant (3) GM P/N 97720043 (Canadian P/N 88901148), or equivalent to the flywheel housing sealing
surfaces.
