Sierra 3500 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 2 (2004)
1. Install NEW O-rings (2) to the oil filter adapter/oil cooler.
2. Lubricate the O-rings with engine oil.
3. Apply sealer GM P/N 97720043 (Canadian P/N 88901148) or equivalent to the O-ring sealing area (1).
4. Install the oil filter adapter/oil cooler.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the oil filter adapter/oil cooler bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
