11. Remove the brake caliper and bracket assembly (1).
12. Remove the disc brake pads. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (JD9) (See: Brake Pad/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (JD9))Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (J90, J95, J96) (See: Brake Pad/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (J90, J95, J96)).
13. Inspect the brake caliper mounting and hardware for damage and wear. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Mounting and Hardware Inspection (See:
Testing and Inspection/Rear Disc Brake Mounting and Hardware Inspection).
Installation Procedure
1. Apply a light coat of high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the brake caliper guide pins and guide pin bores.
2. Inspect the brake caliper seals, boots, and guide pin bushing and replace if damaged or missing.
3. Install the disc brake calliper guide pin seals (1) and boots (2).
4. Ensure the brake caliper guide pin seals and boots are fully seated in the grooves of the brake caliper housing.
