Rear Object Sensor Housing Replacement (All Other Vehicles)

1. Remove the center rear bumper step pad or the rear bumper impact bar end cap. Refer to Rear Bumper Step Center Pad Replacement   () or Rear

Bumper Impact Bar End Cap Replacement   (). 

2. Disconnect the sensor harness.
3. Remove the sensor from the sensor housing. 

The sensor housing must be painted if replaced. If reinstalled, painting will not be necessary.

Important: Do Not grind off alignment tabs.

4. Sand/grind sonic weld plastic residue from the fascia.
