16. Remove the brake caliper guide pin boots (1).
17. Thoroughly clean the brake pad hardware mating surfaces of the caliper bracket of any debris and corrosion.
18. Thoroughly clean the disc brake caliper housing guide pin bores with denatured alcohol and allow to dry.
19. Thoroughly clean the brake caliper guide pins with denatured alcohol and allow to dry.
Installation Procedure
1. Inspect the brake caliper hardware. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Mounting and Hardware Inspection (See: Testing and Inspection/Rear Disc Brake
Mounting and Hardware Inspection).
2. Install the brake caliper guide pin boots (1).
