10. Disconnect the parking brake cable eye (1) from the parking brake actuator lever.
11. Release the parking brake cable locking tabs, remove the parking brake cable from the cable bracket by compressing the parking brake cable
spring toward the cable eye and passing the cable through the cable bracket slot.
12. Remove the parking brake cable.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the parking brake cable to the vehicle.
2. Connect the parking brake cable eye (1) to the parking brake actuator lever.
3. Install the parking brake cable to the cable bracket by compressing the parking brake cable spring toward the cable eye and passing the cable
through the cable bracket slot.
4. Ensure the parking brake cable conduit is fully seated in the cable bracket.
