J 42188-B - Ball Joint Separator

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
2. Lower the vehicle and support the lower control arm.
3. Remove the front shock absorber. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement (2500, 3500) (See: Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber/Service and
Repair/Front Suspension/Shock Absorber Replacement).
4. Loosen the upper ball joint nut, but DO NOT remove.
