Sierra 3500 Denali 4WD V8-6.0L (2011)
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
4. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Frame/Skid Plate/Service and Repair/Engine
Shield Replacement).
5. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator (2). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting
Disconnection and Connection (See: 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect
Fitting Disconnection and Connection).
6. Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe clip nut (1) from the engine.
7. Remove the cooling lines from the transmission (3). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and
Connection (See: 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection
and Connection).
8. Remove the oil cooling lines (4) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the transmission oil cooler lines (4) to the vehicle.
2. Install the cooling lines to the transmission (3). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and
Connection (See: 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection
