Sierra Classic 1500 2WD V8-5.3L Hybrid (2007)
23. Connect the positive battery cable.
Tighten the bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
24. Snap the positive battery cable cap closed.
25. Connect the negative battery cable.
26. Connect the generator battery carrier.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the passenger side front fender.
2. Remove the generator control module (GCM).
3. Remove the GCM bracket nuts and bolt.
4. Remove the GCM bracket.
5. Remove the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module.
6. Remove the 42-volt positive/negative cable grommet nuts (1) from the front of dash.
7. Push the 42-volt positive/negative cable grommet through the front of dash.
8. Remove the hinge pillar trim.
9. Remove the 42-volt positive/negative cable clip (2) from at the right cowl panel.
10. Remove the door sill plate.
11. Reposition the carpet.
12. Remove the 42-volt positive/negative cable channel rear nut (3).
13. Disengage the 42-volt positive/negative cable channel from the studs on the floor.
