Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement or to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
3. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
4. Remove the floor storage console. Refer to Console Replacement (w/Console Mounting) Console Replacement (w/o Console Mounting) .
5. Remove the center seat, if equipped. Refer to Center Seat Replacement .
6. Remove the control lever and the boot, if equipped. Refer to one of the following procedures:

For the NV 3500 transmission, refer to Control Lever and/or Boot Replacement .

For the NV 4500 transmission, refer to Control Lever and/or Boot Replacement .
7. Remove the rear seat if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (60/40 Split) Rear Seat Replacement (Extended Cab) Rear Seat Replacement
(Extended Cab w/4th Door) .
8. Remove the jack assembly.
9. Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Crew Cab) Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Extended
Cab) Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Regular Cab) .
10. Remove the lower bolt from the instrument panel (I/P) support post. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .
11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as
the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
1. Install the carpet to the vehicle.
2. Install the lower bolt to the I/P support post. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .
3. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Crew Cab) Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Extended
Cab) Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Regular Cab) .
4. Install the jack assembly.
5. Install the rear seat if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (60/40 Split) Rear Seat Replacement (Extended Cab) Rear Seat Replacement
(Extended Cab w/4th Door) .
