7. Remove the positive battery cable from the generator. Perform the following:
1. Slide the boot (3) down to access the terminal stud.
2. Remove the positive cable nut (2).
3. Remove the positive cable.
8. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
9. Remove the generator mounting bracket bolts.
10. Remove the generator mounting bracket.
11. If necessary, remove the idler pulleys.
Installation Procedure
