Sierra Classic 3500 4WD V8-8.1L (2007)
2. If equipped with a automatic transmission, install the engine flywheel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the engine flywheel bolts.
1. Tighten the bolts a first pass to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
2. Tighten the bolts a second pass to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
3. Tighten the bolts a final pass to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
4. If equipped with a manual transmission, install the clutch assembly. Refer to Clutch Assembly Replacement.
5. If equipped with a automatic transmission, install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the 4L80-E transmission, or
Transmission Replacement (With 6.6L Engine) Transmission Replacement (With 8.1L (L18) Engine) for the Allison transmission.
