Sierra Denali RWD V8-6.2L (2009)
Installation Procedure
1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480), or equivalent to the oil drain and fill plug threads.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution) .
2. UsingJ 36511 install the oil drain plug.
Tighten the plug to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
3. Remove and drain the drain pan used to catch the used transmission fluid.
4. Fill the transmission to just below the bottom of the fill plug hole. Refer to Lubrication Specifications (See: Specifications/Mechanical
Specifications/Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Tremec 5-Speed (TZ0) - Manual Transmission/Lubrication Specifications) .
