1. Pitman arm on the pitman shaft. Line up the marks made at removal.
2. Pitman arm washer and nut.
TIGHTEN

Pitman arm nut to 250 Nm (184 ft. lbs.).
3. Drag link (31) to the pitman arm ball stud. Make sure the seal is on the stud.

Tighten J 29194 to 62 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) to seat the tapers. Remove the tool.
4. Pitman arm nut (38) to the pitman arm ball stud.
TIGHTEN
^
Nut (38) to 54 Nm (40 ft.lbs.).
5. Lower the vehicle.
