Inspect shift control cable for date code stamped on exterior cable conduit. The date code may be found approximately 8 inches rearward of the
transmission cable control lever (REFER TO FIGURE 1). Cables coded in the area marked with "XXX" with the number 321 or 322 (REFER TO
FIGURE 1) must be replaced in accordance with the SERVICE PROCEDURE described below.
NOTE:
ONLY THOSE CABLES IDENTIFIED WITH A DATE CODE OF 321 OR 322 ARE SUBJECT TO THIS CAMPAIGN AS IT PERTAINS TO
REPLACEMENT
