W 3500 L4-3.9L DSL (1998)
Tighten: Bolt to 17 N-m(12 lb-ft).
4. Exhaust brake assembly (4).
5. Bolts (12) holding the exhaust brake to the exhaust pipes.
Tighten: Nuts to 17 N-m(12 lb.ft)
6. Exhaust brake hose (10).

Be sure the exhaust brake hose overlap is 30 mm (1.181 in). This will prevent the hose from contacting the exhaust manifold pipe.
