Yukon/Denali XL 1500 4WD V8-6.0L VIN U (2004)
7. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe nuts.
8. Reposition the pipe out of the way.
9. If equipped with a 8.1 L engine, perform the following:
9.1.
Remove the oil cooler hoses from the clip.
9.2.
Gently pull the oil cooler pipe fittings straight out from the radiator quick connect fittings.
9.3.
Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
10. If equipped, remove the engine shield bolts.
11. Remove the engine shield.
