12. Ensure that the yellow identification band on the tube is hidden within the quick connect fitting.
13. A hidden yellow identification band indicates proper joint seating.
14. Fill the transmission to the proper level with DEXRON(R) III transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front grill assembly.
2. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the auxiliary oil cooler.
3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator.
4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
5. Remove the engine protection shield.
