Symptoms - Garage Door Opener

SYMPTOMS

IMPORTANT:  Review the system Description and Operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Garage Door Opener
Description and Operation.

Visual/Physical Inspection
-

Turn the ignition key to the ON position and press any garage door opener (GDO) button. The LED should light when the unit has power and is
functional.

Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the GDO.

Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.

Intermittent
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.
