8. Ensure the HVAC air inlet cover is completely sealed. There should NOT be any gaps in the sealer bead.
9. Remove excessive sealer squeeze out around the HVAC air inlet cover.
10. Install the air inlet grille panel (1). Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in SI.
Note
ONLY vehicles that require the HVAC air inlet to be sealed require a water leak test.
11. Perform a water leak test by running the vehicle through a car wash. Inspect vehicle interior for evidence of leaks.
