Evaporative Emissions Hose: Service and Repair
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Intermediate)

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) SYSTEM HOSES/PIPES REPLACEMENT (INTERMEDIATE)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  Clean the evaporative emission (EVAP) and fuel line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order
to avoid possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor electrical connector (1).

4. Disconnect the fuel feed line from the front and rear tank lines.
5. Disconnect the EVAP lines from the front and rear tank lines.
6. Remove the hose assembly.
