Fuse Box Door Replacement PROBLEM

The fuse box door warps and, when closed, cannot shut off the fuse box light, which causes the battery to go dead.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the fuse box door with the stiffer type.

1.

Open the fuse box door.

With a flat screwdriver, gently pry open the spring clip holding the fuse box door's left hinge and pull the door free.

3.

Move the door to the left until the right hinge is free of the dash panel.

4.

Install the new fuse box door and make sure the fuse box light shuts off when the door is closed.
