PROBLEM While driving the car, you hear wind noise from the corner of the left or right window where the mirror mounts.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Air leaking past the mirror boot (or hole cover) or the window glass run.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

FOAM GASKET

1.

Remove the mirror (or the hole cover if no mirror is installed).

2.

Apply the appropriate foam gasket (see PARTS INFORMATION) to the mirror mount area.

Adhesive

3.

Reinstall the mirror (or cover).

4.

Pull the front glass run out of its channel as shown. Apply black weatherstrip adhesive to the inside of the channel, then push the glass run firmly
back into place..

NOTE:

Use an adhesive such as 3M P/N 08011, or equivalent.
