Heater Control Panel: Service and Repair

CONTROL PANEL COVER REMOVAL 

1. Remove the fan switch knob and temperature control knob.
2. Pry the heater control panel out with a screwdriver.
3. Disconnect the wire, then remove the panel.

CONTROL PANEL REMOVAL 

1. Lower the steering column.
2. Remove the dashboard center.
3. Remove the center console and radio.
4. Remove the screws from the front and pull the control panel part way out the back.
5. Disconnect the air mix cable from the heater.
6. Disconnect the heater valve cable from the heater valve.
7. Disconnect the switch wires, and remove the control panel.
