Air Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
Air Control Valve B
1.
Disconnect upper hose from air control valve B and connect vacuum pump to valve.
2.
Disconnect lower air hose of valve from vacuum manifold and connect pressure gauge and pump to hose, then blow air into hose.
3.
When vacuum of less than 8 inches Hg is applied to diaphragm of of air control valve, air should flow and the gauge should not register any
pressure.
4.
When vacuum is released, air should not flow and the gauge should register pressure.
