NOTE:

Be sure that the reservoir is full and that the cap is on the reservoir.

1.

While the car is still on the hoist, start the engine, put the car in gear and drive for five minutes at 38 mph or above.

2.

Stop the engine, check the fluid level and add power steering fluid as necessary..

3.

With the engine off, bleed the valve body at the following fittings, one at a time, in the order shown.

NOTE:

Do not loosen fitting "T."

If there is any air, bubbles will form while the fluid is seeping; check each fitting and bleed until there are no more air bubbles.
4.

Recheck fluid level and add power steering fluid as necessary.

5.

Before test driving the car, start the engine and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times with the vehicle on the ground and stationary.

6.

Test drive at slow speeds, making both left and right turns.
