Power Antenna Motor: Service and Repair
Power Antenna Motor Removal
1.
Turn ignition to the "I" position.
2.
Extend antenna to its fully extended position.
3.
Turn ignition off.
4.
Remove antenna cable sheath retaining clip.
Power Antenna Motor Replacement
5.
Remove mounting nut and lower motor from bracket.
6.
While pulling on drive cable, operate antenna motor until cable is forced out of motor.
7.
If replacing the antenna and drive cable also, continue. If just the motor is being replaced, proceed to step 12.
