PROBLEM

A buzzing sound similar to that of a defective speaker can be heard from the front door with the radio on.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Door speaker operation causes other door components to resonate.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1.

Remove the speaker from the door panel and, with the speaker wires connected and radio on, check for the buzzing sound.  If the buzzing
continues, the speaker is bad and must be replaced. If the buzzing has stopped, reinstall the speaker and remove the door panel.

2.. Remove the two power window control unit mounting screws and pull the control unit out of the door.  Apply E.P.T Sealer 5T(thickness=0.5
mm)around the outside of the control unit and the inside of the power window control cavity, then reinstall.

Apply E.P.T Sealer 5T to the plastic rain protector as shown in the shaded area of the illustration below, and reinstall the door panel.
