Uneven Roof Molding
PROBLEM
The roof molding behind the rear door is not flush with the curve of the roof.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Carefully pry up the forward edge of the roof molding using a long and narrow flat blade screwdriver. Take care not to bend the roof molding with
the screwdriver.
2.
Replace one or both, as necessary, original turquoise green 6.0 mm molding clips with new white 4.5 mm clips. The shorter replacement clips will
ensure the roof molding fits snugly when reinstalled.
3.
Gently bend down the ends of the roof molding to match the curve of the roof line.
4.
Reinstall the roof molding.
