A/C Diode: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: The diodes are designed to pass current in one direction and block current in opposite direction.
1. Using an ohmmeter or continuity tester, check the diodes.
2. Connect negative probe to B terminal and positive probe to A terminal.

There should be continuity.
3. Reverse the test probe positions and check.

There should be no continuity.
4. Check the other diode (terminals C and D). Connect negative probe to C terminal and positive to D.

There should be continuity.
5. Reverse the test probe position. There should be no continuity.
