PROBLEM
The weatherstrip on the back edge of the door slides in the channel and bunches up.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reposition the weatherstrip and glue it in place.
1.
Examine the weatherstrip along the back edge of each door. If it is bunched up at the base of the window, continue with this CORRECTIVE
ACTION.
2.
Remove the weatherstrip, starting at the upper corner. Remove 12 inches along the top, and 20 inches along the back.
3.
Apply 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (see REQUIRED MATERIALS) to the area exposed in step 2.
4.
Reinstall the weatherstrip. Slide it in its channel so it lies flat with no tension or compression in any area.
