Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair
WARNING: Do not smoke while working on the fuel system. Keep open flames or sparks away from your work area. Be sure to relieve fuel
pressure with the ignition switch OFF. It is recommended that the battery be disconnected before any fuel system work is to be done.
NOTE: The radio may have a coded theft protection circuit. Be sure to get the customer's code number before disconnecting the battery. After service,
reconnect power to the radio and turn it on. When the word "CODE" is displayed, enter the customer's 5-digit code to restore radio operation.
Fuel Pressure Release and Test Port
The Fuel Pressure Test Port may be used to release fuel system pressure, or attach a fuel pressure measuring device capable of measuring up to 379 kPa
(55 psi). The threads inside are 6mm in diameter. Replace the sealing washer when reinstalling the bolt. Tighten the bolt to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
