Use the diagnostic procedure to determine if the window now closes properly.

If the window now closes properly, go to step 12.

It the glass still tilts, continue with step 7.

Loosen the two regulator upper mounting bolts. Remove the two lower mounting bolts.
8.
Use a rat-tail file or a die grinder with tapered bit to elongate the slots in the door panel for the lower mounting bolts. Make the slots 17 mm long.
9.
Apply touch-up paint to the bare metal areas of the elongated slots.
10.
Reinstall the lower mounting bolts.
11.
Repeat steps 4 and 5.
12.
Reinstall the rain protector and door panel.
