Look between the outer molding and the inner door skin, and watch the actuator clip as you work the inner door handle.

5.

If the actuator clip is stretched, recheck the installation of the rod.

6.

When you are satisfied that the actuator clip and rod are working normally, reinstall the plastic cover and the door panel.
