NOTE:
After making this adjustment, it may be necessary to adjust the side-to-side clearance.
Glove Box Uneven Side-to-side
1.
Open the glovebox and grasp the side with the least amount ot clearance.
2.
Push or pull the glovebox toward the side with the largest amount of clearance to center it.
5.
Close the glovebox and check the side-to-side clearance and squareness with the dash.
NOTE:
There should be approximately 2 mm (0.080 in) clearance on either side of the glove box.
Top of Glove Box Uneven With Dash
1.
Open the glovebox just enough to grasp either the top or bottom edge.
2.
If the top of the glove box is too close to the dash, grasp the top of the glove box and push straight down slightly.
3.
If the top of the glove box is too far from the dash, grasp the bottom of the glove box door and pull up slightly.
