Radiator Fan: Description and Operation
Without A/C

COOLING FAN OPERATION  
Power is supplied through the cooling fan timer unit to the coil of the cooling fan relay. Power is supplied directly to the cooling fan relay contacts
through fuse 39. Ground is provided to the coil of the cooling fan relay by coolant temperature switch A, the PGM-FI electronic control unit, or the
cooling fan timer unit under certain conditions. The relay contacts close and power is provided to the cooling fan motor. The cooling fan motor then
runs.
