Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments
NOTE: Air/fuel mixture is ECU controlled, it can only be checked, there are no provisions for adjustment.
TAILPIPE EMISSIONS INSPECTION
1. Run engine to operating temperature (cooling fan comes on).
2. Connect a tachometer.
3. Check and adjust idle speed as necessary (see IDLE SPEED under ADJUSTMENTS).
4. Connect a CO-meter and check CO content with accessories off. CO content should not exceed 0.1%.
5. If CO content is out of specification, see COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.
6. Disconnect the tachometer.
